FIDAS Delivery Service
Role: Game Designer / Art Director
Team: 2 Artists (me included) + 1 Developer
Platform: Meta Quest 2
Around 2020/2021, I coordinated a small team to create a short VR experience for FIDAS, an Italian blood donation association.
Working within a tight budget and production timeframe, I worked directly with the client to establish a visual style that was simple, accessible and aligned with their communication goals, while remaining realistic for our team to produce.
I helped translate the brief into a focused game experience, balancing gameplay, visual direction and production constraints to deliver a complete 10–15 minute VR experience including an animated intro, a gameplay phase with a tutorial and a brief outro.
The project was developed entirely in Unity, covering the full process from game design and visual direction to asset production, implementation and iteration with the development team.
We used Blender for the models and various scraps of paper, Infinite Painter and Photoshop for the initial concepts.
The project was a useful exercise in making a small team and limited resources work effectively within a real game development pipeline.
