More designs for the steampunk-inspired beat-em-up Quell!
Here I delve a bit more into three sample gauntlet designs for each power tier.
You get to unlock these during the game based on various achievements.

I have been having quite some fun designing these, and i cannot wait to see what the 3D team comes up with eventually!

Tier 1 sample gauntlet: a quite basic design with a hand-made feel.
This is designed and built by the character itself as an all-purpose arm because it is meant to be, you know, an arm.

Here is the turnaround with some more mechanical detailing for the 3D artist. 
You can see a bunch of corrections because we decided to move the little gemstone socket closer to the one on the top-tier gauntlet, thus making it visible during the gameplay.

Mid-tier gauntlet, introducing some of that steampunk feel while keeping it not too threathening.
I am glad we went for the cobalt blue metal finish.

This one would knock your skull out of your head if the game devs weren't so considerate towards the younger public. Ah, if I had it my way!
